Restaurants, cafe, #playground, #farm and garden in #Pattaya.
Here is not new but still always famous among family and kids. About 30 min. drive from downtown, close to Pattaya Floating Market, an English-country site will attract you to turn in. I recommend visiting there since the opening at 10 AM., let kids release their energy in a playground where children under 3 should be supervised, then buy them a set of animals' food (145 THB) to feed a Gypse horse 🐴 called Charcoal, goats 🐐 and those friendly chicken 🐓, also collect 6 eggs from the hen houses back home. Two hours in the mini farm and adventurous playground are good enough to get hungry for lunch. There are 2 restaurants in the same area, Tea Factory & More serving European dishes and Somtum Villa with mouth-watering Thai-Esarn food. Better to be seated at any place a bit early before very crowded at noon. We chose the latter one as we'd just had some western cuisines. The taste are really good and you can order it not spicy for young kids. However, finish this meal with coconut milk ice-cream to calm down your tongues.
Actually, you can try a variety of tea from the other Tea Factory after meal at your table by asking the waiter. Lychee Oolong Tea (120 THB/kettle) that I tried is superb as recommended. Otherwise, move your family to enjoy even more having tea together with homemade bakery items in a nostalgic Asian ambiance at Tea Factory. At 2.30 PM. every Sat., if your children's energy are still left, they can try to be a young farmer by growing&harvesting veggies 🍅. Or just taking photos in a beautiful garden 💐🌹🌲 used for many weddings might be the best and last answer before bringing kids back home asleep 💤.
